Registering for one or more of these tours will allow the opportunity to travel with other colleagues and friends enjoying the marvellous attractions of this county with grupal rates:
The month when the congress will be held is the most ideal time to visit the breath-taking spectacle of the Iguazu falls in a subtropical rain forest, the imposing setting of mountains, valleys and the irresistible attractive of the “Humahuaca creek” in the Argentine’s Northwest. Besides in March, like every year, Patagonian forests are filled of red and allow extraordinary vision famous Perito Moreno Glacier.
Each tour is expected to operate exactly as shown subject to minimum number of being reached, If minimum number are not achieved, an alternative program will be offered or complete refund will be made. Certainly tours will also have limited space which will be allocated strictly in order to receipt bookings.


(*) As the minimum connection time between the domestic and the international airport of Buenos Aires is 4 hours, and depending on the return international flights of delegates, it may be necessary to add an extra night at Buenos Aires. Every particular situation will be informed to delegates.

IGUAZU FALLS - 3 DAYS / 2 NIGHTS

Iguazu Falls one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature by the New Seven Wonders of the World, are located at the northern extreme of Misiones Province in the border with Brazil, the Iguazú Falls are the highlight of the Argentine/Brazilian rainforest. The falls are the widest and most imposing water falls on Earth. Their name in the native tongue, guaraní, means Big Waters and this is, undoubtedly, the perfect name for them.

ITINERARY: 3 DAYS / 2 NIGHTS

Day 1: Buenos Aires/Iguazú

Departure from Jorge Newbery Airport (Buenos Aires) on flight to Puerto Iguazu. Arrival at Salta Airport. Reception (local guide) and transfer to the selected Hotel.Accommodation.

Optional: Brazilian falls tour

In the afternoon, enjoy a different view of the Falls during a walking tour through the passages that connect the different observation points for a panoramic view of the falls framed by a myriad of rainbows.

Day 2: Iguazú

Breakfast at the hotel. Full day Argentine Falls tour.
Spectacular views walking in the heart of the jungle. This tour visits Iguazu; National Park walking along the paths that cross the jungle and lead to the falls. The lower path runs along about 1.200 metres by the river to see the foot of some of the cascades. The upper path allows the view from the top. After this walk and a short ride on the train to the footbridge over Devil's Throat. The feeling of the magnitude and strength of the water falling is overwhelming and unpaired. The wild noise is so high that it can be heard various kilometres away. The mist over the Devil's Throat is such that endless rainbows are formed.

Optional: The Great Adventure

After the walk, take the all terrain trucks to go through the Jungle, following the Yacaratia path to reach Macuco Port Rapids: 5 mile navigation through the lower Iguazú River on speed inflatable boats, crossing 2 miles of rapids. Cascades: Boats get into Devil's Throat Canyon approaching to the water falls to finish the adventure at San Martin Island.

Day 1: Buenos Aires/Salta

Departure from Jorge Newbery Airport (Buenos Aires) on flight to Salta.Arrival at Salta Airport. Reception (local guide) and transfer to the selected Hotel.Tour of the city and surroundings.
A tour to colonial architecture. Salta, the city with the richest colonial traces in the country offers an interesting tour. Passing by its houses and churches it is possible to discover the beauty of their architecture, distinctive and sober. San Francisco Church, first built in 1626 and rebuilt in 1870, has the highest church tower in South America (53 mts.). The tour continues to San Bernardo Hill where the panoramic view of the city and Lerma and Lagunilla Valleys is great and then on to the Catholic University and Castellanos Gorge to get to the residential summer resort located on the river shore and called San Lorenzo. On the way back the tour will stop at the handicrafts fair. Accommodation.

Day 2: Salta

Breakfast at the hotel. Full day tour to Cafayate.
Excellent wines and the unbelievable 'Puna' landscape. Renowned for the tasty white wines and the magnificent silverware, Cafayate is a picturesque city located in the Valley of Las Conchas River. The tour passes along Cerrillos, El Carril and Coronel Moldes to get to Las Conchas River Gorge, a natural monument of spectacular beauty, and to Cafayate. The houses in the city show a mixture of the colonial and baroque architecture from the late 19th Century. The tour includes a visit and wine tasting at one of the famous wineries in the area. Day 3: Salta

Optional tour to Humahuaca Gorge:

A chain of little villages in a colourful and charming landscape. Departure from Salta along a mountain road to get to San Salvador de Jujuy for a visit including the Cathedral, famous for its golden altar, a valuable piece of colonial art, and the Government House where the Argentine flag was raised for the first time.Accommodation.

Day 1: Buenos Aires/El Calafate

Day 2: El Calafate

Breakfast at the hotel. Full day tour to Perito Moreno Glacier.
The majesty of nature at its best. Departure from El Calafate bordering the southern arm of the Argentine Lake to get to Los Glaciares National Park (90 km away) and reach the paths to the Glacier. Perito Moreno Glacier is about 30.000 years old. Its surface is 192 km2, the front wall is 5 km long and some of its peaks are 80 metres high. The deep blue base is almost as dark as the water that surrounds it. The deep silence is suddenly interrupted by the tremendous noise of huge pieces of ice that crack from the glacier and fall into the lake to float on the Canal de los Tempanos (Icebergs Channel). Day 3: El Calafate

Sail among icebergs on a clear water lake. Early morning departure to Punta Bandera where the northern and southern arms of the Argentine Lake join. Board a catamaran to sail on the lake along the front wall of Perito Moreno Glacier and among huge icebergs towards Spegazzini Channel where the Glacier with the same name is found. After passing Devil’s Throat a stop will be made in front of Upsala Glacier to observe its magnificence. The tour will continue towards Onelli Bay for a short walk across the wood to get a wonderful view of Bolado, Onelli and Agassis Glaciers. Accommodation.
